Go vivala! <3

And so the night finally arrived. With ard 88 band members on stage, we played our hearts out to the 900 plus people in the Victoria Concert Hall. Thanks to everyone who made the concert a success. From the teacher's in charge, the alumni/friends and the fengshan band. And not forgetting our dear Mr Png and Mr Pisit. We really appreciate everything you've done for us. :D

Ok so lets start talking. School hours was okay, not that boring. Ms Ang was the best, i swear. Went to bandroom at 11.30am with some of the other sec2s. Brass/percussion had lunch while woodwinds did their tuning thenthe other way round. We were delayed for some reasons so we didn't have the run through. Malay guys went for prayers and the others were left with the loading of stuffs. Very hectic but we were done and off to go to VCH when the time was nearing 2pm. Sat in front with Athira on the bus. The bus was scaringly not noisy. ): We took ard an hour to unload all the stuff and set up everything. And yet again very hectic. And Wei Jie terlanggar me with the timpani. Like omg, my leg was in pain. Haha.

So we rehearsed for ard 2 hours then dinner at ard 6pm. Me, Wanie, Athira and Alifah went to get ready first in the dressing room before going to eat the nasi ayam. Then after that accompanied the rest to get ready too and we were off to hit the stage ard 7.20pm. I was freaking nervous when i was about to go out because i'm the first person to go out for the third row. But when i reached my seat, took deep breathes then gradually became ok. Shaun was looking so nervous too but Mr Coleen entertained him (and some others) with his Chipmunk/donald duck imitation.

So started off with Omens of love, and i think it was quite nice. I tried to pitch the high notes, which i think i did. Yay! Next was First Suite in Eb and i think it was nice. Especially all the solos and such. Well done people. We got off the stage since it was the percussion ensemble, Super Mario, which i think turned out really nice. And i really really love the caps. Haha. Next was Fengshan band with Winter of 1730 and Doraemon which was like super nice gile. They really deserved their gold with honours. Interval - met up with alot of people. I wanted to strangle Khat like omg, but i didn't. Khaliesah kept on saying that she shouted my name but i couldn't hear. Then met the juniors, the classmates - Luqman was there and i shouted ketot! when i saw him. Ika and sister were there and suprisingly Saira too. Saw Faizah(auntie) who was with Aliah and co. Then met up with my family, took pics blah3. And saw my dear beloved Aminah, Desi and Suriati! After that went back in for the second half. Started of with Rocky which was great. Yay for Sir's and Mr Badrul's solo(s)! Cavalryman of the Prarie went smoothly for me, thank goodness. Next was alumni/friends band with Queens Park Melody and Colours of the Wind. Everyone was singing backstage and after that clapping and cheering. Haha. We went back up and Wave was next. Lol, no comment. Topped it off with Disney Fantasy. I think the audience loved it esp the part when Renee Sim(aku tak tau siape), sang Its a Small World. Then was the encore piece. Audience went off, we took group photo and ended ard 9.45pm.

Had to pack up and load the stuff really quickly because there would be extra charges if we extend the time or something. And as usual very hectic. I was loaded with stuff - My horn, my bag loaded with people's belongings, a torn pepper plus plastic bag filled with bottles and Haqem's shoebag, which i offered to bring since he was bringing his flower in one hand, his baritone sax in another and something else i think. Journey back was better than the journey there. Played with Shahin's mario cap, camewhorred, bitched with Athira, Alifah and Naufal(yes naufal) and sang If you're Happy and You know it. Azri and Yassar sang the Staying Alive song which made them sound like gay. Fazrina duduk kat belakang stone. Haha. Ms Jumiah claimed that i shouted and wanted to give me detention. Whatev.

Reached school, unloaded the stuff, packed our bags and we were off home. Oh and Shaun became snow white and slept on the bench until Elaine came to wake him up. Haha. Went out of school and met dad and bro who were picking me up. Rolled down the window to shout people's name and/or wave at them. Farhan was the most enthu. Haha. Reached home ard 12.15am. Washed up, ate my cupcake and went to bed! YAY! <33333

OMG INVESTITURE IS IN TWO WEEKS TIME! I dont want the seniors to goooooooooo! I'm like gonna miss all of them esp Wanie, Farhan, Shaun, Hui Xian, Elaine to name a few. I think i'm gonna cry and ocean. Omgggg, i'm gonna these two weeks left with them all. Then they're off to O Levels. Good luck people! :DDD
